Philippe Cuillerier alias «Doudou» is well known in gypsy jazz style as a unmissable rhythm-guitar sideman. Greats artists like Angelo Debarre, Romane, Tchavolo Schmitt, Bireli Lagrene, Babik Reinhardt, Stochelo Rosenberg, Christophe Lartilleux, Latcho Drom, Patrick Saussois, Rodolphe Raffalli discovered in him a strong rhythm section but also a very good voice. He uses to spice the concerts with some raging scat-singing, gypsy or french songs. As an undertaking musician, he also gave lessons during a long time and founded with his old fellow André Venturini the swinging guitar website : l'Echo des Cuillères, a very well known website for all the afficionados in the world from 1998 to 2004). He also participated to the Romane's magazine "French Guitar". - Victorine Martin  : The lady's touch in the band ! She grew up with classical guitar (National conservatory of Nice) and she's yet an amazing rythm guitarist in gypsy swing style. She participated to the Tony Gatlif's film “Swing” with the gypsy master Tchavolo Schmitt. She joined in “Rafael Faÿs Quintet” in 2003, Patrick Saussois's “Alma Sinti” in 2004 and Marie-Ange Martin's Quintet in 2005. She also gives guitar lessons and organizes some educational master classes with Doudou Cuillerier, Romane, Angelo Debarre. - Antonio Licusati is an old fellow and an “in great demand” double-bass player. (Angelo Debarre, Latcho Drom, Bireli Lagrene). His round and confortable sound (the italian sound) is remarkably suitable for Doudou Swing's music. - The excellent Emy Dragoi is a gypsy accordionist who integrates the surroundings with professionnal knowledge and wonderful artistry. One can listen to him with his band “Tzigan story” in a typical repertoire, travelling in the est-european countries (Romania, Russia, Yugoslavia). He also plays with many gypsy jazz bands like “Latcho Drom”. - Based on the Django Reinhardt style and centered on the french swing song from the fifties, this unusual string swing band is distinguished by his dynamism and his originals compositions. Doudou Swing has all the qualities required to charm those who like that style and especially the songs lovers. Doudou and his fellows plays their repertoire with power and experience.
